We transformed one of my favorite venues in San Francisco, The Conservatory at One Sansome on Saturday for Rachel and Phil. It was such a fun one to design and bring to life. Intentional design is rooted in storytelling. For this celebration, we played with different tones of green and mixed patterns for the linens. We used chopsticks brought back from Japan by the groom’s parents to create a seating chart that was not only functional, but deeply meaningful. Every guest left with a piece of their story—thoughtful, beautiful, and uniquely them.
Shimmer and Stain helped us execute this vision by designing pouches for the chopsticks so guests could take the set home.
This is the heart of full-service planning and design: uncovering the details that matter most and transforming them into design moments that feel personal and unforgettable. When you have a planner who truly understands your story, your wedding becomes so much more than a pretty day – it becomes an experience.
